SOUTH DALMATIA

SOUTH DALMATIA is an area that stretches all the way to the Cape OŠTRO respectively border of MONTE NEGRO. The most famous destination is the world-famous historical city of DUBROVNIK (on the UNESCO list since 1979).

A place that simply must be visited. A very rich historical legacy within city walls, it is a first-class attraction. Historically the city was an independent republic with a strong naval fleet. You can easily reach DUBROVNIK by plane, ferry from Italy (Bari) or many other means of local transport.

Near DUBROVNIK the ELAPHITE Islands and the National Park island of MLJET are most popular. To the north is the island of LASTOVO (Nature Park). Sailinghere you will enjoy lush vegetation with a deep green in contrast to the blue sea.

From LASTOVO you come to another pearl of the Croatian Adriatic, the island of Korčula. The birthplace of Marko Polo will delight you with its historical beauty.

And finally, from DUBROVNIK you can head south to MONTE NEGRO and explore the unique bay of BOKA KOTORSKA, above which high mountains rise, and the of town KOTOR (a historical town with maritime tradition).
